About This Spot

Stepping into Lily Fu’s on the vibrant stretch of Sukhumvit 11 feels like slipping into a warmly lit enclave where East Asian flavors mingle effortlessly with casual sophistication. The space hums with a relaxed energy—a mix of softly glowing lanterns and gentle music that invites you to settle in, whether you’re here for a laid-back catch-up with friends or a moment of quiet discovery at the bar.

There’s an approachable ease to the pace of the evening, a gentle buzz that carries the clink of glasses and the occasional burst of laughter without ever feeling rushed or crowded. The staff’s thoughtful attention creates a subtle sense of belonging, where you’re not just a guest but part of a shared experience. It’s the kind of place where small gestures—a bartender’s knowing smile or a spontaneous toast—add texture to the night.

The culinary journey here mirrors that vibe: vibrant, unexpected, and deeply comforting. Flavors build layers of familiarity with inventive twists, from the delicate balance of a green curry’s spiced richness to the playful textures of bao filled with tender confit and tangy pickles. Dim sum offerings invite a slower pace, encouraging savoring each bite alongside thoughtfully crafted drinks, whether that’s quality coffee by day or a nuanced Thai whisky sour after dark.

In many ways, Lily Fu’s feels like a bridge between tradition and modern day life in Bangkok—an honest, spirited neighborhood spot where conversations flow as naturally as the carefully made cocktails. It’s a space to linger, to discover, and to connect, with tastes and moments that feel quietly joyful rather than overblown.

This place is superb, fantastic for friends hanging out with easy and chill atmosphere. The food is amazing, not too spicy but also flavorful. The staff name Grace is amazing, asking if this is a special occasion or not and then she came with a birthday cake to surprise me. This is the experience I really recommend if you're looking for a place that can connect with friends and vibing with the food and music.

Was walking down Sukhumvit 11 and I stumbled across your place by the first glance of the colorful lantern decors. I proceed to walk inside and seat myself at the bar. I was warmly greeted by the bartender (Barry) and was presented with the menu. Little to my surprise, this place serves dim sum! Which is a rare menu at swanky looking resto bars. I was already excited and drawn in by the menu. This place easily became my favourite spot on Sukhumvit 11 and will definitely keep coming back everytime I visit Bangkok.

We sort of ended up here unintentionally, and to be honest, I'm generally much more critical with places in this price range, particularly when they add ++ surcharges, but for the quality and experience we experienced here, I have no complaints. We tried a variety of dishes, all of which are more like izakaya small plates rather than full sized meals. We tried gyozas, seabass with larb seasoning, tofu satay, and some kind of beef stirfry. The kids had some chicken nuggets. We loved everything except the tofu satay, but the peanut sauce served with that was great. Actually, the sauces were impressive, especially the Nam Jim Jaew served with the Seabass. Even my Thai wife said that might be the best Jim Jaew we've ever had (but the green seafood sauce, we think, was not homemade; it tasted very "packaged"). The Seabass itself was the highlight of the meal. Would gladly return. Also, we went during happy hour, so beers were buy 1 get 1 free, but the server mentioned that after 7pm they do the same promotion on ALL drinks! So that would be more interesting, of course. I'm not sure if that was only for that particular night (Tuesday), or all nights, but might be worth investigating.

We had the Cheng Fun and the Ha Gao as appetizers and the stir fried beef with rice and egg on top. Firstly the behavior of the staff was wonderful and made us feel so welcome. They were also very helpful in helping us understand the menu. The food was 10/10. The decorations and the atmosphere is wonderful. Had a great time here! Worth a visit.

They have a special all you can eat dim sum menu on weekends and this is the highlight of this place. The dim sums are excellent and the place is very nicely decorated, which makes it the perfect location for a date, if your mate is as hungry as you are! Service is excellent and the place is pretty quiet.
